    The professional rules relevant to patent attorneys admitted in the Federal Republic of Germany are the Patentanwaltsordnung (BGBl. I 1966, p. 557, as amended, see BGBl. I 2001, p. 3656), the Berufsordnung der Patentanwälte (Mitt. 1997, p. 243), the FICPI Code of Conduct (http://www.ficpi.org/about-ficpi/governance) as well as the Code of Professional Conduct of the epi (epi information 2/2001, p. 75). The professional rules relevant to attorneys-at-law admitted in the Federal Republic of Germany are the Bundesrechtsanwaltsordnung (BRAO), Berufsordnung für Rechtsanwälte (BORA), Bundesrechtsanwaltsgebührenordnung (BRAGO), Code of Conduct for Lawyers in Europe (CCBE), Gesetz über die Tätigkeit europäischer Rechtsanwälte in Deutschland (EuRAG), and the Law Implementing the Directives of the European Community Pertaining to the Professional Law Regulating the Legal Profession and can be found on the website of the Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer (Federal Bar Association) under www.brak.de
